This test establishes a method of comparing the transmission of heat through the materials used for protective clothing. The specimen holder support is equipped with a 40 mm diameter calorimetric disc with copper/constantan thermocouple. The automatic device detects the rise time and the temperature with the resulting graphics on the display.
