In 1984 NOSELAB S.R.L. was set up as a trade company operating in the field of laboratory measuring instruments, especially for textile and paint industries.

In the  time we have been enlarging our product range to cover other aspects of material measuring and testing and moreover we have been developing test equipments for reaction to fire in cooperation with the utmost Research Institutes and Certification Laboratories.

In 2009 a new production plant started and brought the Company to specialize in physical and mechanical tests on plastic materials.
Nowadays Noselab is a modern company that have been working for more than 35 years with professionalism, creativity and commitment, developing services and products for laboratory tests in various industrial fields.

The founder Gianluigi Nosenzo starts NOSELAB's activity with the production of equipment for material testing, in collaboration with the National Research Laboratories.

Faced with the new standards that establish the characteristics for the Homologation and Classification of construction materials, he creates in Italy the first Chamber for the Measurement of Optical Smoke Density, based on the experience dictated by American companies.

Transfer to the new headquarters in Nova Milanese with expansion of the technical sales department which stands out by dealing with the distribution and installation in Italy of Macbeth U.S.A. Colorimetric Systems. In a few years they became Exclusive Agents, bringing the brand to be the leader in Italy in the 90s in terms of color measurement and standard lighting.

Acquisition of other international brands such as Defelsko U.S.A. and Sheen Instruments U.K. for instrumental quality control of paints and plastics.

Continuous development of the production of machines for fire reaction tests of building materials directed to the major national and international research centers: ENEA, CNR, RINA, C.S.I., CATAS, FIRA, MINISTERO INTERNI, AITEX.

Many other large-scale devices are designed, the production of SBI “Single Burning Item” and ISO 5660 compliant Colorimetric Cone begins.

The company inherits the legacy of Ats Faar, a company renowned for the production of instrumentation for testing plastics. It becomes NOSELAB ATS and with the expansion of the headquarters it aims to continue developing the instrumentation for this emerging sector with the help of the most current technologies. The new range includes the characterization of raw materials, physical mechanical tests, aging tests, thermal tests.

The production site is expanded, a qualified team is now available to support Italian and foreign large customer base who benefit from the experience of the company. The markets of China, Russia and the Middle East open up. Noselab Ats exhibits at important international trade fairs in the sector.

After 35 years from its foundation, NOSELAB ATS has diversified its production and activities into a range of equipment and instruments for the various industrial sectors.

The proposals are born and are presented to support the work of laboratory technicians in the development of increasingly competitive materials and with the aim of obtaining the simplification and automation of instrumental measurement.
